AT HOME PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Not a lot beats an at home pregnancy massage…you get the comfort and familiarity of your own bed as you have a gentle massage... I will create a calming and soothing environment in your home so you can relax with the massage allowing any swelling to reduce and improve your circulation.

As a mobile massage therapist I am offering you specialist treatment wherever you are in the four Heatons (Heaton Moor, Heaton Norris, Heaton Chapel and Heaton Mersey) and in Stockport

***Appropriate after the first trimester (12 weeks)***

Why choose At Home Pregnancy Massage treatment?

  • You get the spa brought to your door - Don’t need to stress about making your way across town whilst also expecting, instead I come to you!

  • You will be provided relief from pain and tension - Do you feel in your lower back, legs, neck and other weight bearing joints any muscle spasms or aches and pains? A pregnancy massage can help relieve these aches and pains!

  • You will receive a massage that is gentle and safe for both you, as the mother, and your baby - I am qualified to provide a treatment that is specifically designed to be a safe and therapeutic massage for both mother and baby.

  • Your sleep and overall mood will improve - a massage not only helps with any physical aches but also helps to ease any mental or emotional tension as the massage encourages an increase in blood flow and circulation in your body which reduces your cortisol levels.

***Appropriate after the first trimester (12 weeks)***

IS PRENATAL PREGNANCY MASSAGE SAFE?

Yes. The release of endorphins that a mother has during a massage can help the baby feel calmer as the mother’s stress levels are reduced. The pregnancy massage you receive uses light, yet effective pressure

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE PREGNANCY MASSAGE TREATMENT?

You will lie on your side on a blanket on your bed with pillows for support and stability. Or you can sit upright on a chair leaning on the back of your couch or on your pregnancy ball. Any of these positions help enable your umbilical cord to not be compressed so you can rest assured that whilst you are having a massage your baby is still getting oxygen and nutrients.
